What Does The Fox Say? Japan Village Inhabited By Foxes Attracts People From Around The World

There’s a vendor within the village that sells treats for visitors to buy so they can feed the foxes. These little critters are very food driven and are always happy to see people bringing them snacks to munch on.

There are six types of foxes in the village.  Japanese folktales and lores are full of references to foxes, along with tanuki (Japanese raccoon dog).

Visitors can purchase food to feed the foxes and it costs around a dollar. The foxes don’t bite but visitors are discouraged from touching them.
