Charlotte sure is a hit with customers at Lowe’s. “Everybody loves Charlotte. This definitely was not part of the job description,” Luthy told Abilene Reporter News.
Charlotte proved to be more than just Luthy’s service dog. He entertains kids while their parents are looking for hardware.
She also calms children just by being her perfect dog self. There’s nothing like the soothing presence of a dog.
“We went through the interview process, and Clay and his own merit won the job,” Fellers told KIDY. “And we knew he was gonna make a great employee— we just got the benefit of getting Charlotte right along with him.”
This sure is a victory for disabled people with service dogs all over the world. They still have a lot of fight in them. They deserve to be given an equal chance at employment.
