Daisy had a rough start in life as the disabled runt of the litter abandoned in the streets to fend for herself. Luckily, a police officer came across the poor dog and brought her to a shelter.

Two months after her rescue, no one took interest in her so she was slated to be put down but thanks to a volunteer from A Home 4Ever Rescue, her euthanasia was prevented. A few months have passed and someone fell in love with Daisy and took her home.

Her owner was specifically looking to adopt a special needs dog in the summer of 2011. Daisy was born with a congenital deformity on her front legs so her elbows, right shoulder and back hips being dislocated, although she can walk and run without any support.

However, the vet who examined Daisy determined that it’s best for her to get around with wheelchair to prevent further pressure on her spine that could cause more damage.

Despite her disability, Daisy is a happy and energetic dog who loves to be active and be around people.

  1. I think this is wonderful, that this organization cares enough to take in these senior dogs and helps them to find forever homes for them.. It’s a shame their former owners don’t do this for them.

  2. I’ve read several good stuff here. Definitely worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to make such a great informative website
